Sam 2010 Course Assignment Assignments Maintenance

Mac Hints

The 2016 Content Player displays the following hints for using Mac computers to complete tasks in SAM training and exam assignments.

Note: This functionality is not the same as completing the tasks in Office 2016 for Mac. Refer to the Office for Mac method on the training task, Intro Mode for details on how to complete the task in Office 2016 for Mac.

The full sized version of the Mac keyboard has two delete keys. When dealing with text pressing the Delete/del key deletes text to the right of the cursor and pressing the backspace key deletes text to the left (backwards) of the cursor. The Delete key present in the left side is for Backspace key and the Delete key present on number pad at right side is for normal Delete command.

The Apple Magic Keyboard normally used in MacBook only has one Delete key. If you press Delete without the Function (Fn) key, it works like Backspace. If you press this Delete key with the Fn key it works like the regular Delete command.

For the tasks that require Delete command (e.g. deletes text to the right of the cursor)

  • Full-sized version keyboard: Press the Delete Key on the Number pad on the right side.
  • Apple Magic Keyboard without numeric keypad: Hold the Fn Key on the Keyboard while pressing Delete

For the tasks that require Backspacing (e.g. deletes text to the left of the cursor)

  • Full-sized version keyboard: Press the Delete Key on the left side.
  • Apple Magic Keyboard without numeric keypad: Press the Delete Key.

For Tasks that require the Windows Ctrl key:

  • On a generic USB keyboard: Press the Ctrl key.
  • If the Ctrl key does not work: Press the Alt key instead.

For Tasks that require Right Clicking:

  • Click on the top right hand side of the mouse (Enable this in the System Preferences.)
  • On most new Macbook models: Touch the track pad with two fingers. (Enable this in the System Preferences.)

For Tasks that require the Function keys (F1, F2, F3, etc.):

  • Hold the Function (fn) key on the keyboard while pressing the appropriate Function key (F1, F2, F3, etc.).

- Разве мы не знаем, что в хиросимской бомбе был другой изотоп урана. Все вокруг недоуменно переглянулись. Соши лихорадочно прогоняла текст на мониторе в обратном направлений и наконец нашла то, что искала.

- Да.
